How to configure BSNL ADSL Broadband connection in a Beetel 220 BX1 ADSL2+ Modem










1.       First thing is, connect from the wall out to the Line socket in the splitter.
2.       Then from Phone socket in the splitter, you can connect a phone
3.       The ADSL or Internet socket should be connected to the RJ11 port named “Line” in the modem.
4.       Then connect the modem to the computer through Ethernet port.
5.       Open web browser and type http://192.168.1.1 in the address bar.
6.       For the user name and password type admin.
7.       If you cannot login press the reset switch in the back of the modem. This will reset to the factory setting.
8.       After logged in, click Advanced Setup> Click WAN.
9.       Then click Add. For BSNL type the below settings.



Click next.

Click next

Type the username and password provided by BSNL, then type in the other settings and click next
After typing as above click next

Then save the settings and reboot the modem.
It should be connected now. Line and Data LED should be lit.
